While it’s certainly nice to have a beach bod, it’s not the only reason to get your torso into shape…
After all, your core is much more than just those 6-pack muscles, it’s your body’s powerhouse.
Having a strong core will prevent injuries, protect your organs, banish back pain, improve your posture and of course, help you look a wee bit better on the beach ;)
There are lots of exercises to choose from:
+ planks (tons of different versions)
+ Flutter kicks
+ Turkish Get Ups
However, my fave exercise at the moment has to be the “Sit-Out”.

If you’ve already mastered a basic plank and can hold it for at least one minute, then I reckon you’re ready to try the sit-out.
